What edition do you use? I am looking into adding to my daughters ALEKS and am considering Singapore math based on the recommendations here. My question is which edition to use, the U.S. edition or the new Standard edition? There is no home instructor editions yet for the upper level and I think we need to start with 3B or 4A since she is almost done with ALEKS level 4. I also saw that Hey!Math is based on the U.S. edition and we are doing a trial with that right now as well. My daughter is moving so fast through ALEKS I'm worried that she isn't retaining all of it or really grasping the concept beyond the few problems presented. Any comments or suggestions? Are the placement tests the best way to decide what book to use? It's so much easier with the littler ones because we started them with Singapore math this year and just went back to Essential Math B to make sure they understand everything before progressing to Primary Mathematics.
