It is definitely making more sense and seems to be a working memory/fine motor skill issue. We are scheduling him for the academic achievement tests but the first opening the neuropsychologist has is the second week of December so I guess we will start the long wait. In the meantime, we are looking at different homeschool options in our local school districts. I work part-time from home so I think that might be the best solution to preserve what confidence he has and help to accommodate his differences until we work this out.
