I think that the key is that the child meets the qualifications. What you write just gives Davidson "the big picture." I think that for that question, I looked at each of my kiddos and considered what about their development might make them differ from the norm? In DD's case, it was her extreme verbal abilities and curiosity. With DS, it was his early reading and his precocious math ability. What I feel was key, however, was less what I wrote, than their qualifying scores. HTH! Best of luck!
