glexchick Junior Member G Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 16	We had a bad experience with one of the gifted schools in Chicago. I would depend on which one your son got into. We live in New Mexico now but just moved. Our schools now are more like suburban and both my HG kid and my 2e kid are thriving. CPS is just such a mess, I'd run as fast as you can to Barrington.
