I keep reading that kids are doing these tests in an hour or so. Just wondering if there is a shortened version. When DD4 did the Wppsi 3 a year ago (in NZ it was still current)it took 4 hours,- 1 hour twice a week). She did score quite high so I know she wouldn't have been out super fast.
I'm wondering if she was given an unfair advantage or if the tester was just very diligent about getting an accurate and unhurried score? She didn't do extended norms because she only topped out one section. We also had to come in a 5th time because DD was too chatty to do the test one day.
I'm just wondering if the new test is so different that it only takes a quarter of the time or if it is simply up to the tester.
I guess I'm still waiting for someone to tell me the test was fake!
