DS6 has only been a DYS for a month and it's been helpful to us already. I had an hour long conversation with his gifted consultant and she offered to write a letter to the school with suggestions to accomodate DS's needs. She also sent me helpful articles about acceleration. Anyhow, if your DS has had the testing done already it's free to apply and to be a member so you have nothing to lose! grin
