This will give them a chance to quick do something if they forgot, or to answer you if they are doing OK. It gives them the benefit of the doubt, even if your dd has told you and you already know nothing is happening. If you don't get an answer to this one, your next email should be requesting another meeting.

You aren't "that parent" if you are asking for information. It's just communication.
