Can't write much--I MUST clean house! But I'll say quickly that the library is our most used resource for homeschooling, by FAR! Other than that we use pencil and paper, maybe a workbook and a ruler. Not much more.

We don't use a white board, but I have a HSing friend who uses hers every day. No wrong way there, I don't think.

I picked up some fun idea books, some shape templates for drawing, a cool gear toy that will be perfect for my engineer, a box of games for DS4 and stuff like that.

Actually, now that I think of it, most of what I got was more for DS4 than DS7...

We do love our pattern blocks--a bucket full of little plastic geometric shapes. Seriously, that was the best $20 I ever spent! I recommend tangrams and pattern blocks if you have kids who like that sort of thing.

Otherwise, pencil, paper, computer and a library card are about all we really use.
