EM really excels at making a kid who's naturally good at math completely HATE math class. I am so, so happy the charter school doesn't use it.

I had wondered.
Incidentally, we used the "we'll tutor her to meet the demands of ______'s prerequisites this summer" with Course 2 from Pearson back when DD was caught halfway through what was
becoming GT 5th grade math in her charter.
The school, knowing us reasonably well, was perfectly fine with her starting Pre-Algebra the following fall.
