She was very supportive and really seemed to 'get' DD, and I really enjoyed our visit with her--very refreshing, after dealing with so many people who did not understand .... she understood that at least some of DD's social issues came from the gifted stuff and feeling out of place rather than (all) of them being from some disorder or another.
That is what I am looking for, someone who is educated in the area and has experience with complex kid. I'd hope to get guidance about additional information and testing might be helpful in determining school choices and also just providing some insight to our local professionals. Thank you.
