Grandma took DD (just turned 4) to get assessed to see if she could apply for local gifted and talented program. Grandma got the scores, but did get many more details. I have a follow-up phone call with the tester to get more details and am wondering if you can help me with what I should ask:)
The little bit of information I got was that she scored 99.4% and 99.4% for a combined 99.8% - you need a 95% to aply to the program so I am taking it that she did pretty well
They also listed what sound like IQs...but not sure 134, 134 and combined 144.
The entire assessment was only an hour so short assessment time frame along with extrememly young age leads me to believe that there could be quite a bit of variability in test scores(but she seems to be directionally smart:))
- Does this sound like the CoGat?
- Is there anything specific I should ask?
- any suggestions?
