Hi all. I posted a few times asking for help with the test results as the tester used WISC-III and not WISC-IV. After a lot of research I understand more about my DGS than I did before the testing, so it was not a total waste.
What I really need to know is what a very low information score may mean. I have found a lot of info on subtest scatter between indices but not within one. He has a 19 on similarities and a 7 on information. Hoagies says that scatter within indices is a sign of gifted and LD. Anyone know what conditions affect Information scores?
So far, we have learned he has a vision issue with focusing, the beginnings of astigmatism, maybe has generalized anxiety disorder (testing this week) and is being referred out to be tested for dysgraphia. We will not be able to get visual processing or auditory testing for a couple of months.
Thanks for all the help so far.
