My youngest daughter will be able to take the group administered Cogat at the beginning of 1st grade next year. I'm not sure if I should rely solely on the Cogat or if I should test her privately with the wisc. If, hypothetically, she doesn't perform well on the cogat I don't think there will be enough time to squeeze in private testing before the applications are due for the G&T program at her school.

Any thoughts/opinions?
