DD8 tends to just observe, then find books to look things up in...or now, her iPad...

DD4y10m-Pretty much ALL DAY...She will come in say the most ridiculous sounding things like "Are you making dinner?", when CLEARLY I am, I have food out, pots and pans on the stove, etc. I realized her questioning is likely two fold...
1-she wants to verify that pots on the stove, food on the counter, plates out, etc, does indeed mean I am cooking. She has a need to verify her fact collection and reasoning I guess...
2-she wants me to give a minute by minute narrative of what I am doing. She wants me to say "Now I'm boiling the water for spaghetti", "Now I'm cutting the bread" and on and on. She is so not like the older one, doesn't like to read independently yet, so she asks a lot more questions

I get excited when the library lets me know my books are ready for pickup...
