Thanks for your reply. Yes, I'm planning on moving back. We are not very thrilled with the Montgomery County Public School System. There is no flexibility around the curriculum when it comes to creativity. My son is 8 yrs old and interested in science; he reads Stephen Hawkin's History of time. He asks us to homeschool him so he can have time for reading and figuring out things becasue his teacher is obsessed with tests!The Canadian congregated classes seem to have a more interesting profile with time for collaboration and trust rather than standardization and competition. Classes in Canada have a higher degree of diversity. We see that the highly gifted classes are Asian dominant. 4 people put of 52 are non-asian. With all respect that I have for their hard working culture, I am not sure that's what I want for my son...
