Thank-you! I will check into the links. I was shocked when I saw just how bad the private school was doing. The teachers had no one holding them accountable...the Owner/Director is a bit flighty. I asked his new school if we should repeat K and they said he would be bored. As far as Math, he is WAY ahead of the game. He loves science and history....it's the reading and writing that has me concerned. I think the school thinks he will catch up in that area. He's my 1st, I have a 3 yr old daughter and another one due in Nov. I just want the best for him, like every parent. I just hope we're making the right choice in having him continue to 1st, instead of him repeating K.
He is a fast learner, when he wants to be...he's VERY stubborn and he's ironed willed...can be good in a lot of situations, and not in others..LOL!
