They use this matrix Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) 0 1 2 3 4 5 120-125 126-128 129-134 135-139 140+ Verbal National Percentile Nonverbal National Percentile The child needs to score 3 points, with at least one point in verbal and 1 point in non verbal
