We had my son tested 2 years ago with a private psychologist when he was 6, really to learn about his intellectual potential, etc. He did really well. We got a basic report with that.
However, a year later, I learned that his scores would qualify him for our local GT program. I sent the scores and they said they had to have the "full report." That cost $200 more or so. The report, in my mind, didn't add anything to learning about him. Our GT won't accept the scores without the report. Go figure!!
