I appreciate your thoughts and questions about my motives for testing. It is really making me think about why i am doing this and what i expect to get out of it.
Certainly, i want to know for myself what her iq is - i guess to validate what i am seeing. And i think you make a good point that i don't need to see a score card to push at school for more challenges for her. I asked for her to be placed in a first grade class for math, but they wouldn't do it and wouldn't test her for it. I felt like i didn't have the ammunition to make a problem out of it, and that is really my own shortcoming.
I will sleep on the rest and continue to things about waiting until 6 for the proper testing.
