Plano ISD has math honors for grade 6. Is it different than Math rock?
what are the differences? Are the math rock student who entered in 3rd grade still in Math rock even if their grade levels are down?

Never heard of math rock...must be a Texas thing

I have a friend with a 4th grader in the math rocks program and a 7th grader that is in the honors program (he wasn't in math rocks). They are totally different programs. Math rocs goes into more depth. The kids enter math competitions.

I would assume honors math is at least one possibly two tracks down depending on if there is a gifted math track.
