I wasn't hoping for an IQ, more for a grade equivalency or something along those lines. I think the numbers might be raw or standard scores, so I'd perhaps like to know the age or grade when those scores are 50th percentile? This wasn't the only assessment given. They also used OLSATs and classroom performance, but my daughter did poorly on the non-verbal section of the OLSAT, and my son doesn't write well, so they used the PIAT as an additional measure, which makes no sense to me for my son since neither of the tests has anything to do with writing! I tend to think my kids are more precocious and bright as opposed to actually gifted, but they certainly aren't getting what they need in the regular classroom.
