This sounds like a well-thought-out set of offerings. Some may say you cannot go wrong with either option. A few random thoughts...
1) Has your daughter weighed in on this? What are her thoughts and feelings in reflecting on these options?
2) Has the school utilized the Iowa Acceleration Scale (
IAS)?
3) Given the school's apparent willingness to accelerate, do they have other accelerated children (who may form a natural peer group for your child)?
4) Nothing is cast in stone, families may reconsider options in the future to reflect current developmental needs.
