I just wanted to say hello and to introduce myself and my daughter. My name is Tammy and I found this site about a month or so ago while looking for information regarding gifted children. My daughter Lauren is 5.5yrs old. I could write a book about all the things she's said and done in her short 5 years on earth but this post would be insanely long! We believe that Lauren is highly gifted and in every article and website that we've found that has a checklist for identifying gifted children, we check nearly every box. We are currently applying for the Young Scholars program and more than anything right now I'd just love to talk with other parents who have kids like Lauren!
