Hello all, Several months ago I read a report that was recently published regarding separating gifted and high achieving kids into a separate classroom and the benefits for those children. The study also discussed how separating out the low achieving children was beneficial for self-esteem and academic performance. I thought I saved the article in a safe place to reference later and now I cannot find it. I am hoping to present some information to the school to support a classroom placement for DS7 and the other high achieving/gifted kids in his grade. Any studies/links you have would be greatly appreciated.

You might find it referenced in the NAGC position paper on grouping.
