So my DD, grade 7, qualified for the Grand Recognition Ceremony and the State Ceremony.
Is it worth going to both? Has anyone gone to the Grand at Duke?
On one hand, if the ceremonies are similiar, I might only go to the state. Yet, anytime I can get my DD to visit a college campus is nice.
    Any thoughts or input?
    Thanks.

It depends on how far you have to travel, but I have to say I enjoyed both. PM me if you want more details.

    Congratulations.

What is the minimum grade that you have to be in to take the DUKE talent search test . My kids are in First grade and second grade .

They have the 4th/5th grade talent search and they take the Explore test.
7th grade talent search takes either SAT or ACT.

Just wondering if you think it is worth going to both the state and the grand ceremonies.
