Hello, all.
I'm brand new to this site and seek some good advice:
Basically, am looking to have my 10-year old tested again (first WISC III was 4 years ago), but this time, by someone who has experience testing for profound giftedness.
We live in Europe, where in the course of meeting with a local psychologist who confirmed my suspicions that the previous test (also administered abroad by an educational specialist, although not one experienced with giftedness) was not so useful (i.e. my kid hit ceilings on 6 of the subtests, but faired poorly in the processing speed, which thus skewed the results), I was advised to pursue testing in the US with a specialist experienced in detecting the upper ranges. Am willing to travel anywhere in the US to get solid, useful results, but east coast (NYC, Philly, or DC) would be easiest.
Anyone have a good recommendation?
Would ideally like to use the results to apply to Davidson.
Thanks much!
