    I have a question about what grade test they should take and why. I would like to have her retest in the spring so what it the advantage to pushing for a different grade level test? She is in K she tested a 177 in reading and 187 in Math. She took the survey with goals for primary. Thanks

    This presentation shows staying with MAP for primary grades until they have a RIT of 210. The benefit of switching sooner is you would have a more consistent baseline for measuring future growth instead of wondering if any changes are due to the different test.

    Choosing Appropriate Test

    * Refer to prior data gathered on the student
    * Discuss with prior teacher
    * Pre-requisite test until the student has attained all foundational skills
    * Skills test until the student has attained all foundational skills
    * MAP for Primary Grades until they obtain a RIT score of 210 or no longer need the audio support
