I haven't been around much this last year struggling to deal with the 2e portion of my DD's diagnosis versus her GT.

I'm trying not to get to excited and hopeful but we finally have an appointment with a clinical neuropsychologist who specializes in children with IQ's greater than 135. This last year has been such a struggle dealing with my DD's AS, there are no resources in our area that we qualify for. We will drive an hour each way every two weeks to begin with but I am so relieved just to have found someone that might help us. It was amazing talking to someone on the phone who really understood the added challenges in a child who is GT with AS.

    Hi Mel,
I had no idea, (I had just sent you an e-mail couple days ago, with no idea what you have been going through) - best wishes.

Good wishes here too. We're working our way through our own 2e struggles and are finding it disheartening when you don't know what to do and those simple fixes just don't seem to fix much.

I hope that this specialist is really helpful for your family.
