    DS7 is extremely literal! His teacher called me aside to tell me that my son had not taken the notes off the board. When I asked him about it, he told me that his teacher had told him that he didn't have the right paper. He took that to mean that he couldn't take notes. We run into stuff like this all of the time.

    I'll keep you posted what I learn. You know I will. I like having someone to chew it over with. Congratulations on your brand new school. It's almost like Santa dropped that one in your lap, being this time of year. "overprepare, then go with the flow.". That's my new favorite calendar philosophy quote.

    Since this came up again I'll say this. Tallulah, I love your list of mistaken thinking. It's really something to keep in mind. It's a lot to watch out for at once. It's a very thorough answer key to check our own thoughts whenever we're stumped on a problem. Thanks again for pasting it.
