Last week my DS8 was at his enrichment pullout program at the local high school. We had tornados do through the area and students were put in safe areas. When I asked him where he went he said in the VIKES hall with the special education kids. But then he comes up with but really smart kids should be in special education too. They need changes in what and how they learn just as much. If only state education offices could hear that

That is such a cool story. Good for you Vicam for creating a safe environment for your son to make such an observation aloud. Yippee!!!

I see you're in OH, which seems to be quite good on gifted ed, so can we borrow your son for next year's budget hearings in IL?
