Has anyone heard of this? You can find it at www.khanacademy.org. I originally heard about the website from a reference in a speech given by Bill Gates.

This man Khan started making these educational videos and eventually was so successful with it he quit his job and makes them full time. He must have over 600 videos about 15 minutes each. I have done many of the chemistry lectures and I just finished the French Revolution. Talk about gifted! This is a great resource, and free.

We use the math videos quite a bit, sometimes for a little review of a homework topic and sometimes just for fun smile

I love Khan academy, even if the presentation style is a little old school (nowt wrong with that)

I just found this on you tube last week - a pretty good clear introduction to algebra

The guy does more videos but I haven't needed to look at them - it's on my list.

And a while ago when doing fraction to decimal and percentage conversions junior and I loved this video by maths teacher Mr. Duey

    - Brilliant!
