We are awaiting test results for the Woodcock-Johnson and the WISC IV. My question is re: WISC IV:

The assessor told me that my son "went all the way to the end" on a few of the sections of the WISC IV. I'm wondering what that means exactly and what are the implications for results at least on those subtests. I realize this is all speculation, but that's all I have until I get the results in another 3 weeks!

Pour yourself a glass of wine and try to relax. We all know what the waiting is like and an off the cuff comment like that is just the perfect sort of thing to drive yourself Crazy with!

It means that he reached the end of a subtest without hitting discontinuation criteria. I usually mark that information in the report, because it suggests that those scores might be underestimates of the child's performance. What the implications of that are really depends upon the specifics, which one would hope that the tester could give you in the report.
