It should only take a few days. DD is attempting to leapfrog over 6th grade math into honors 7th grade math. We could have aimed higher but she wants to stay with a cohort of other GT kids.

I am doing the teacher equivalent of cleaning out a closet: packing up my classroom for the summer.

    Wish DD luck!!

Well, the scores already came back. The proctor hand entered her scantron answers into an online scoring program. She made a 77 but needed a 90.

For $10.00, we can sit in the room at the testing center and review the scantron, her test, and her answers. We can't take notes of any kind out of the review session. They won't say which answers are correct, only which questions were wrong.

DD says she had a pretty significant mis-bubble on a large block of scantron lines after skipping a question. I think this might be the culprit, actually.

Walking out of the testing center, she felt very confident and said only 2 of the 100 questions were guesses. She said the EPGY material and the study sessions we did were much harder.

This sucks. She's in tears. I'm in tears. The school district will let her try again, at our expense. I don't know what to do.

I'd spend the $10 and see if you can figure out where the error was made. If you can't, then pay for it yourself.

    hugs
