I have been searching for things for DS8 to do during the summer and have come across some excellent courses (although based in the UK it is online and open to anyone in the world) - he is very excited about them so I thought that it would be good to share the link if anyone else is interested:

I called up and spoke to the lady who was very helpful and I have signed DS up to 3 of the shorter courses.

For anyone who is interested when I signed up DS got invited to a free course online today called "From Plato to Playstation" (or something like that) which was an intro to philosophy. The children were presented with ethical topics to explore and then he was allocated to a discussion group this afternoon. DS loved it and is begging me to enrol him on more courses...
he will have to wait for the summer now!
