    hi all
my pediatrician and I both feel like my DD7 needs to be seen by a neuropsychologist to figure him out. He has a PDD-NOS diagnosis that is no longer holding up due to his wonderful social "blossoming" but he still has complex issues with attention, emotional regulation, etc. He is very bright, probably MG to HG. I've posted his last WISC scores here- he is the "4" in coding kid who also got some 19s. I loved the Eide's book but with several re-readings and making notes everywhere, still can't exactly figure out what he falls into and what he needs.

Price is a big factor. I called a local neuropyschologist who charges about the same as the Eides ($3000). I've also called Dr. Amend but haven't heard back yet., but i do know that he charges $175 but he's not an MD and i'm not sure if he'd get as thorough a neuro-psych evaluation there. I've also heard about Dr. Silverman but haven't pursued. Can someone here give me any additional names of those they'd consider "top 5" in the US for this type of case. And if anyone has any information about experieces that they can't share with all, can they PM me with details.
    thanks
    irene
