It is just that we have been trying to figure out what is up w/ my little man. He may/probably has Tourette's and we are to see Dr. Amend on Friday. All I really want is correct info. He is currently failing 3rd grade and to be taken out of the pull-out enrichment. I guess I just needed validation that I am advocating for a kid who is gifted with issues and not just being a pain. It's been a long journey. Also these are scores from the school psych. We have some OT and speech evaluations also. Speech may be impacted by processing speed or tourette's .We are seeing some fine motor difficulties as well. Hates to write.

    hi vicam
the scores look a lot like my DD7 who is 2E. The coding is his low test as well. Seems to be a test that points to a lot of different issues, though. We are still searching for answers when it comes to his disability- some things point to autism spectrum others to ADD and even possibly audio processing issues. He is in a really appropriate school program now so we are trying not to dwell on the label being right though of course i'd love to know exactly what is going on.

Unfortuneately we are not in a good placement. That is what I want to know how to fight for. It probasbley is part ADHD also but with the tourettes meds can be tricky, tried last year and wow we had some side effects. Work in progress is how I try to keep in perspective.
