I have always been interested in archaeology and I was reading an archaeology magazine yesterday and it had this website in it
http://www.archaeological.org/education . This has free lesson plans for conducting an archaeological dig with students that I think would be great to just do with my kids. Archaeology can be very fascinating, but I know children in the younger grades at least aren't exposed to this very much (at least I wasn't and my kid's haven't been). Just thought I'd share. smile

Thanks, EandCmom. I am looking forward to "digging" into that site with the kids later!

Oh wow, I need to check that out. I was very much into archeology when I was younger and now my dd is fascinated with it! Thanks for the link! laugh
