    Hello,
I am an educator in Phoenix, Arizona. I am interested in starting a private school in my area. I was wondering if any of you have been involved in the creation of a school. I am specifically trying to research sources of funding in order to create the school. Any help or advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have any funding ideas, but I do know the family that started http://www.theorionschool.org/

You might enjoy emailing her about the process.

My hunch is that there are currently undeserved kids in your area who's parents might provide some support.

Another way to go about it is to start with afterschool enrichment or preschool and grow from there.

    Best Wishes,
    Grinity
