Has anyone had any suggestions for improving your dc's processing speed?

Yes - Nintendo DS ! Not very educational, but both the occupational therapist and pyschologist recommended it for DS10 (who has very low processing speed). He plays for 20min / day and we have seen a definite improvement. Most games require him to make decisions and respond very quickly. He has improved so much that he is now seen among his peers at school as being a master and will often be rung up in the evening to be asked what to do get to the next level (or whatever language the kids use). This has massively improved his confidence and for once in his short life he is seen as being the cool kid.

Sorry, not a very educational solution, but we have found it is fun, we count it as screen time, and it has REALLY helped.

My son likes lumosity.com for improving processing speed because it charts his progress. He also plays games on his Nintendo DS that help improve his processing speed.
