    I had to suppress a chuckle the other day as DS6 needed the worksheet item read to him: Write the molecular formula for caffeine, the molecule shown below, using subscript.

    So he's working these chemistry questions, but not necessarily at the reading level to read some of them 100% by himself? Or am I misunderstanding..? Interesting!

    Exactly! His reading is at or just above grade level, so I end up reading most of his Chemistry work out loud and taking dictation for portions with a lot of writing.
