CAG has the minds on location fall schedule out, and they look great, at least for my science-oriented kid. There's a Galileo session for grades 3-7 (and I've had CAG let my son do an older kid thing before so that might be possible for an enthused younger kid), and a catching, banding, and releasing birds thing with an ornithologist at the Milford Audubon center, grades 1-7. The Eli Whitney one closes Oct. 1st, so if you're interested, give it a look soon. (and, as long as they aren't full, my son will probably do both, so we could say hi in the real world).
