    Hello,

I am trying to locate resources to help my DD6 interpret her dreams. She likes to read fantasy and has scary dreams. I was hoping to find a book that we could explore together. I found an out of print book on Amazon "The Children's Dream Dictionary" by Amanda Cross.

Anyone else have any experience here? I'd like to help her understand her dreams and also be able to get back to sleep without waking the rest of us up.

    Thanks!

Thanks Grinity. Always a good place to go. We found a few to order from our library. She's also decided to make a dream catcher.

That's great to hear! Maybe look for some books that talk about how dreams are viewed in various cultures? Maybe write one with DD if it's not out there?

I had fun with a google search on 'dreams interpretation culture'

You might also check out the book Gossamer, it may be too intense for DD6, but it is so lovely. I heard an audio performance of it that I just loved. Here's an interview with the Lowry:

What did we do before the internet?

Many thanks, Grinity for the book suggestion. It sounds perfect for DD. I just need to add a few more hours to the day for DD6 just to research and answer her questions.

I've recently started a notebook for each of my girls questions smile
