The kids have been bickering more than often because of the long summer hols and the recent 10-day school closure due to H1N1 cases in their school.

During dinnertime, they argued about which (Asian) spoon to use for drinking soup. Ds set out the table with wooden spoons which he prefers. Dd, on the other hand, complained about the smell of the wooden spoon and went ahead to take her own porcelain soup spoon. Ds rolled his eyes and said "Oh well, if you prefer spoons made from the same material as toilet bowls and basins..."

Yikes! Pretty funny. We go with the cheapo plastic ones here...that way when they end up as part of an impromptu sculpture/construction no one has to feel bad.
