    Hi,
My son had behavioral isuues in the school, while my understanding is he is gifted but has some of the qualities those overlap with aspergers. And he acts out only when he is not being challenged. Three months back teacher suggested to see a counselor for that. My husband never took it seriuosly and said if he needs help they might send him to school social worker for social skills.
We did ask for phsycoeducational evaluation. In the parents past attempts at seeking help for this child section of social worker report she did say that parents wre interested in seeking counseling for the child but have decided to wait for the result of evaluation.
My question is we never thought that he needs social help it was teacher's suggestion. Should I ask her to amend that or it doesnt make in difference.
