I'm thrilled that my son will be able to go to the Fairfax Co (VA) GT/Advanced Academics Center. I've heard mostly good things about the program, but I can't seem to get many details.

We have an orientation coming up, but I was wondering if anyone out there is familiar with the program and has any comments or advice on how to make the adjustment to the new curriculum next year.

    Thanks!

Hi! MY DD7 will be at a FCPS GT center next year too. smile

Which is your center? Things do vary by center and so many of your questions will be center specific.

Do you know about this Yahoo group?

The center is at Stratford Landing. I'll check out the group--I didn't know about it. Thanks!
