Hello! My DS6 is being tested by the school district next Tuesday for the G/T program (a 30-45 minute test). The appointment is at 3:45 p.m. so he will be in K all day before the test. I'm worried he'll be too tired and/or hungry (which he usually is when I pick him up) to perform up to his full potential. Any advice (good snacks to eat before the test, possibly keep him home that day)? Thanks!

I"d keep him home or pick him up half-day.

Yes, me too, unless there's a way to reschedule. Good catch!

Go for a high protein, low sugar snack. Plenty of sleep the night before...

My son took his after a half day at school and did fine. I brought snacks for him to eat on the way to the test.
