I intended to attach this to my original IAS post but I couldn't find it.

First of all. Thank you to those of you who recommended this manual to me. It really does help take the guess work out. Very few questions are of the abstract/opinion nature which helps alot.

According to the IAS, my DS6 scored a 68 and is an excellent candidate for acceleration. The manual does not address multi-grade skips. I sent an e-mail to one of the authors to determine if there was some sort of applied variance when looking at multi-grade skips. Haven't heard anything yet.

The school was very impressed with the process, as they'd never used it before. They will use it going forward. I will now join the list of those recommending this for those of you considering acceleration.

I'm sure Dottie can jump in here with the multi-grade skip.

I have emailed Susan Assouline and she responded quickly. I have also had a great phone conversation with Ann Shoplik. I would think that either of these 2 will respond in a timely manner. They are very supportive and genuinely want to hear the result of your utilization of the IAS.
