I am sure many of you have already been through this saga but I am just beginning and am overwhelmed.

We are considering removing our daughter from a private school at the end of this school year and homeschooling her. She has gone from a gifted charter school to an academically rigourous private school and now needs something else. She is being bullied and teased. She is far beyond her classmates but wants to be "normal". She is dumbing down and sandbagging tests to fit in.

There are so many programs and curriculums out there. I don't know how to begin evaluating each one. A bit of guidance in how to judge which program is best for which child would really help.

I am a college math prof so I feel up to the challenge but there is just so much information and it is so unorganized.

    Thanks.

Hi ChemEMom - Welcome to the site. I'm not a homeschooler, but I have a good memory. smile There was a thread a few months ago discussing what the homeschoolers on this site were planning:

Hopefully that will give you some ideas for starters.

Well, I just think of what that sentence would sound like if you *didn't* use "us" but instead used "I." It sounds a lot worse. I think you're just fine! smile
