    Hi,
You might be interested in the article of mine published in On Line Opinion regarding the court case of gifted child Gracia MalaxEtxebarria.
    http://www.onlineopinion.com.au/view.asp?article=8083&page=0

The article explores the issues around gifted education (in Australia), the problems with implementation of gifted education policies and legal context. The legal system in Australia is not much used for addressing the issues of gifted education as the issues are not well understood by the legal fraternity.

A trip to the United Nations by the family involved would certainly be an opportunity for education.

    regards

Thanks for sharing the article, I also looked at one of the previous articles linked off yours. Your tone is hopeful despite their loss in court.
I don't know, it struck me as sort of still up in the air as to whether to hope, but I guess some media exposure is better than none - I definitely enjoyed the quote in the first line! smile

Thanks for the feedback Chris. It might go on to be an important case if it goes before the United Nations.
