A few weeks ago, DS 6 asked me to get him a book about Greek words in English. I got him
Cryptomania! Teleporting into Greek and Latin with Cryptokids

The book is a story about kids who travel to various places. Each travel leads to a discovery of new Greek and Latin words. It's a really nice book for kids who want to learn about word origin but want something funny and colorful. DS prefers pictures and stories and the typical format of higher level books wouldn't do it for him.

He loves the book. This week he had me make flashcards with some of the words and used them to play a memory game. I am sure we will continue next week.

Oooh! What fun! I'll have to put that in my running shopping cart; I think ds6 would love that sort of thing.

    Thanks!
